All vehicles must be brought to the Sheriff’s Office, as we do not do on-site inspections. This service is provided to the public at no charge.
If the above schedule does not meet your needs, the Kalispell Police Department does VIN inspections per deputy availability; no appointment is required. The Montana Highway Patrol does VIN inspections on Tuesdays ONLY from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m. All vehicles must be brought to the agency, as they also do not perform on-site inspections.
