Emergency Response Training
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office along with local Volunteer Fire Departments has collaborated on a new program for Flathead residents to help them prepare for the worst. “Community Emergency Response Training or (C.E.R.T.)”, will cover the basic skills that are important to know in a disaster or when emergency services are not immediately available. The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office recognizes that its citizens will likely be on their own during the early stages of a catastrophic disaster.
The purpose of the course is not to have citizens respond and assist Emergency Services, it is to ensure neighbors can help neighbors.
The class is scheduled to take place at the Badrock Fire Department, 480 Bad Rock Drive, Columbia Falls – starting September 8th, and be held from 6pm to 9pm every Monday through September 29th. Registration is needed to determine class size.
September 8th – September 29th, 2014
Sorry, this class is full and we can not accept any more applications at this time.
